I have not booked my trip with Tenon tours yet but I just want to say their customer service has been great so far. I am booking from Canada and I have so many other people almost giving me more or less the same price ( their prices are more expensive than Tenon). The only reason I want to book with this company is their excellent service. I have been emailing Andrew S. back and forth and he has been so patient answering every question I have had! I hope to be able to book my self drive package to Ireland ASAP =) I will definitely recommend this company solely based on their customer service so far!

The people we dealt with i.e. the drivers were simply wonderful. Tom McDonald (from aruralexperience) was our driver for four days and I think he went above and beyond the call of duty. The people we dealt with at each hotel were exceptional and helped us in every way. Our luggage arrived a day late due to a flight delay and bad weather – the people at Trinity Capital Hotel went out of their way to make sure we were well provided for. We couldn’t be more pleased with our experience. Every one was very helpful. The driver made many helpful suggestions and even had the company he worked for(aruralexperience) book some tours for us. The driver from J.J. Kavanagh (John) was also great. Each hotel had receptionists who all went above and beyond duty to help us and spend time answering our endless questions and getting us where we had to go. Stephanie and Erika from Tenon Tours were just super and arranged a fabulous tour. Thanks again!!!!

Stephanie was great to work with and provided great recommendations, but she was also open to my personal preferences based on my independent research. She was also very helpful in making changes in the planning stages, and was very cooperative when I ended up booking part of the trip separately on my own. We loved the pubs, the shops, and the Slea Head Drive in Dingle; we wanted to experience more of Dingle so we stayed an extra night and skipped the Kenmare hotel. In Kinsale – the food was great, shopping was great, the atmosphere and the hilly topography were excellent; we would have loved to have spent more time there, a 3-night stay would have been perfect.

My trip to Ireland was a dream come true and we added a trip to Scotland as well. I have been dreaming of going to Ireland for years and once I was able to accomplish this, Tenon Tours made this trip so easy. They were extreemly professional, responded promply and our trip to Ireland and Scotland was the best. We did a self drive tour,and the recommendations were wonderful, which allowed for a lot of flexibility, yet we saw as much as possible. Tenon Tours were just wonderful I would highly recommend them.

In 2007, I drove through Ireland in a rental car. While I enjoyed the trip, it was very stressful planning an itinerary, finding places to stay, etc. In 2011, a group of us from The Villages, FL decided to tour Ireland. We contacted Tenon Tours. I was amazed at the efficiency and ease of planning this trip. Our Tenon representative listened to what we wanted and delivered on all counts. The trip was a breeze. Absolutely no stress, just great fun. We were met at the airport and transported to our hotel. All of our hotels were top notch. We had a private van and driver who drove us from Dublin to Galway to Killarney to Cork, and back to Dublin. The driver was a national tour guide whose knowledge of Ireland was exceptional. Everything about this trip was a pleasure. We had guided tours, but also time to roam the venues on our own. I would definitely use Tenon Tours again. If you want a great trip, planned by a knowledgeable, friendly representative, use Tenon Tours.

Our trip went like clockwork. We had to change a few things (added extra night, car pick up) but it was wonderful. Standing in the security line coming home my husband and I were tooting your horn to other travelers. Stephanie Molettiere was super. She made sure everything was right.

Tenon Tours is a great way to see Ireland, how you want to see it. I have traveled with Tenon Tours three times now, and each time it gets better. It is a great way to see the world, and meet new friends!

The entire trip was wonderful, I added an extra day to cork which was customized by tour operated Stephanie M, ( she was amazing to work with) Galway was by far the highlight of my tour. The tour itself it was good, I liked the idea of being able to have free time to do as I wish. However my only complaint and not really a complaint was the Connemara tour. The stops should have been more frequent and the stop at the abbey should have been longer, not enough time to eat, see the abbey and grounds in a hour an half. Stephanie Molettiere was extremely accommodating, very quick with each response. She took the time to answer each question and provide very detailed feedback. She customized my tour to suit my needs without hesitation. She is one of the most professional people I have dealt with. I will recommend Tenon Tours for Stephanie’s professionalism alone. She is the reason I actually decided to pick Tenon Tours for my trip.

Our Ireland vacation was everything we had hoped for. Tenon Tours was a great agency to work with. I had a lot of questions, and Andrew with Tenon was knowledgeable and very helpful. He had a number of suggestions which we appreciated. We did the self-drive tour and were extremely happy with the hotels that Andrew arranged for us at the start of our trip in Dublin, and close to the Shannon airport in Bunratty for the end of our travels. Car rental with Hertz was a breeze and a GPS is an absolute MUST! It was fun to choose the B&B’s from the directory provided. The hosts made us feel at home and the breakfasts were delicious. The local people were helpful and gracious. We had sunshine almost every day we were there. A truly magical vacation. Thank you.

Our first trip to Ireland was through Tenon Tours. I can’t even begin to describe how much fun we had. What an amazing experience. I cannot say enough wonderful things about Tenon Tours. We did a 10 day self drive tour of Ireland and felt the added touches provided through Tenon to make all the difference in the world. We stumbled upon Tenon Tours at the Newport Irish Festival. The representatives were very personable, helpful & not pushy at all. My husband and I decided to celebrate our 35th Wedding Anniversary in Ireland. Several weeks after the festival we contacted Tenon Tours and formed a plan–self drive with a castle stay. In the mean time, things happen ed, got hectic, and our initial contact left the company. Our trip date was fast approaching and we had no concrete plans!! Katie & Shona were wonderful, calmed my worries, redid our itinerary with extras, answered all our questions, and were always prompt, and always pleasant!! All instructions, vouchers (perfect system), phone, etc. arrived in plenty of time for our departure. The hotel, castle and car they chose were wonderful. Everything was so well organized we never felt concerned or stressed. As a busy newly married couple, we knew we wanted to Honeymoon in Ireland but were simply too busy to iron out all the details. Tenon Tours contacted us, took the information we shared, and whipped a flat-fee, basic itinerary that took care of the essentials and allowed us to use the little time we had to plan our activities. It was great to pay f or all of our lodging and car rental ahead of time, and the extras like a cell phone and GPS were really important extras that made our trip that much easier and enjoyable.

We were a group of 6 adults who traveled southern Ireland with private driver/tour guide arrabged bt Tenon Tours. They provided exactly the itinerary we requested and worked out all the details. We were VERY pleased.

Six of us went on a custom guided tour of Ireland, staying in Dublin, Galway, Killarney, Kinsale and Kilkenny. Tenon took good care of us from the time of pickup at the airport and continued excellent service at hotels, Irish breakfasts, and our Guide/Driver took us to all of our destinations, stopping along the way for points of interests (Dingle Peninsular, Cliffs of Moher, Ring of Kerry, to name a few. Ireland is beautiful with lush green scenery to the barren Burren. Our guide took us to local Irish pubs for lunch and a Guinness. We had a relaxing but very busy time. We would definitely use Tenon Tours again.

Tenon Tours is a well-priced travel agency in Stoneham, MA, that has everything going for itself. They have enthusiastic agents (Bryan Lewis is fantastic!) that know what they are talking about. And if they aren’t sure of something, they research it extensively. You can rent a GPS from them if you’re driving (which we did) and phones that work over t here. They also have flip cams for rent for those who want to document their trips on film. And iPods with email and skyping capabilities as well as preloaded information about the area you are visiting and music from there. They really get you into the spirit! My boyfriend and I went on a trip the U.K. to celebrate my graduate degree completion and it was the journey of a lifetime. Everything was perfect: hotels, scheduled tours, the cities we visited, and all of it was already taken care of which took a lot of the pressure off. And Bryan listened to everything I wanted and actually planned the trip with me which was such a joy. I’m very hands on so the fact that he let me take the reigns (somewhat) was great. However I know that for those who want a more hands off approach, you are in good hands here. And they really kept it within our budget which for a poor grad student, was really important. We got back May 31 and I am already planning a trip with Tenon Tours to Prague, Salzburg and Budapest with my Mom to visit my sister who is studying in the Czech Republic this summer. Really they focus more on Ireland, but anywhere I want to go, Tenon Tours is the travel agency for me!

Just completed the 10-day singles tour of Ireland and had a GREAT time. My travel package was forwarded to me with maps, guides and tickets…everything I needed to know via email so I could make as many copies as I needed. Each hotel was clean and well located and had a full Irish breakfast. Our bus driver was informative and he safely transported us from city to town to city. All I can say is I had a fun time and enjoyed the trip from Dublin to Dublin along with the Irish House Party on the last night. There were a few transportation glitches & I have recommended these be changed for the next group of travelers.

My wife and I had an incredible trip and Tenon Tours helped us get everything out of it that we wanted! The people, the places, sites and sounds were everything I’d expected and more. We decided to take my parents to Ireland for their 25th wedding anniversary to celebrate our heritage. We arrived in Dublin the day before St. Patrick’s day and got to see the city before the big parade. Our tickets to the St. Patrick’s parade were amazing, we were so close to the action. With 6 people in our group it was important to us to ensure a ll transfers between cities was taken care of and it was. We didn’t have any issues and our tour guide was able to answer any questions we had about the tour and the towns we were in. We all had a great time and would use Tenon Tours again!

Tenon Tours set up a fantastic Irish holiday. The trip was a birthday celebration for my Wife and she was absolutely thrilled with the experience. Everything promised was provided. There were no issues. The accommodations were very nice and the entire experience was great! Stephanie at Tenon made the whole process very simple. The price was gre at and the service was even better.

The accommodations Katie suggested and arranged for were outstanding in comfort, location, and atmosphere! I would definitely be a return customer in the future! Our absolute hands-down favorite part was the 2 night stay at Ballynahinch. Our favorite dinner was also served in the dining room at Ballynahinch. Our favorite breakfast was at Ballyseedey Castle. The best pub was O’Dowd’s in a little bayside village. The most welcome fireside dining was after a long day driving the Causeway up north and stopping in for dinner at the Point House, I think it was called, right at the ferry. It was a lovely vacation!

From the first call to Tenon Tours I knew I was going with the right company for my vacation with my daughter that we waited 11 years to plan…It was perfect. Professionalism, reality and courteous assistance was the best part of our trip. Everything Tenon Tours said they would accomplish they did. I recommend them to be the first and probably the only call you need to make for your trip to Ireland. They get to know you and what you want for your vacation and they work with you to have every detail provided. A five star tour operation.
