Take a look at the full itinerary and some of the many events and tours you can take advantage of during your Greek vacation. Remember, the beauty of our trip is that it provides the necessary transportation, city-center accommodations, and featured tours and events, but is flexible enough to give you the power to pick and choose what it is that you really want to do on your trip to Greece.

Please Note: Tour usually requires an overnight departure on Friday, May 21st.

Day 1: Saturday – Arrive in Athens, Greece
Arrive in the early morning to Athens and take your provided transfer to the Central Hotel, located in the heart of the Old City of Plaka and the Acropolis, only 200 m. away from the Constitution square, the city’s business district.  Once you check-in, you’ll have the opportunity to rest up before exploring the many historic sights of the city, either on your own or on a guided tour.  A welcome party will be scheduled to properly welcome you to Greece, possibly with a shot of Ouzo or two!

Day 2: Sunday – Athens to Santorini
This morning, you will take a shuttle to the ferry terminal and depart for the beautiful journey to Santorini at around 7:30am.  It’s quite the ride at 4+ hours aboard the high-speed ferry but well worth it.  Santorini is the most extraordinary island in the Aegean Sea, rightly been called the black pearl of the Aegean Sea and offering some of most exciting sunsets in the world. After checking-in to the Rocabella Resort & Spa, enjoy the afternoon poolside, or wander the streets where you might just end up at a cafe longer than you expect. Tonight we’ll host a welcome party at a local bar or cafe.

Day 3: Monday – Santorini
Enjoy breakfast at your hotel this morning while you take in the surrounding scenery. The day is yours to experience Santorini at your own pace or take advantage of one of the featured tours which will be available to you which may include a sailing tour, or a visit to Santorini Volcano. Tonight, plan on catching the sunset in Fira while you grab a drink at the Tropical Bar.  Then onto the Town Square, the social pulse of Santorini. It is the prime gathering spot on the island, the place where people begin and often end their nights. Tonight is the night to let loose and stay out late at one of the discos, cafes, or bars in Santorini.

Day 4: Tuesday – Santorini
After breakfast, enjoy your last full day in Santorini while you may choose to wander through the various villages, take a guided tour of the Museum of Prehistoric Thera, or perhaps visit the Boutari Winery.  Or, plan on heading to the beaches of Perissa or Kamari, known for their black beaches.  If you haven’t made it to Oia yet, make it by sunset to make your last night in Santorini a memorable one.  Ask your tour host for details on tonight’s event.

Day 5: Wednesday – Santorini to Mykonos
This morning, you’ll board a high-speed ferry for a 3 1/2 hour journey to Mykonos, the most well-known of the Greek Islands.  Mykonos offers beautiful beaches, beautiful people, cafes, bars, tours and attractions, and unbelievable nightlife.  Much like your arrival into Santorini, we recommend resting up before heading out on the town, as it can get to be a long, tiring day.  Tonight, we’ll feature another welcome party to start things off right in Mykonos.

Day 6: Thursday – Mykonos
Start your first full day in Mykonos off right with a hearty breakfast before planning your day of adventure. If you haven’t had a chance to enjoy the beach yet, now is the time to head down to Paradise Beach, the top attraction in Mykonos offering the best beach and nightlife to go with it.  This place gets pretty crazy and is not for the unsocial traveler!  If you’re not the beach type, there will be plenty of other things to do. Ask your tour host for a complete list of attractions.

Day 7: Friday – Mykonos
Choose your own adventure today, whether it be to explore Little Venice, visiting the Church of Paraportiani, or simply wandering the streets where sipping cocktails while people-watching never gets old!  Tonight, we’ll have a featured event at a local nightclub.

Day 8: Saturday – Mykonos to Athens
Today, you’ll board your last high-speed ferry back to Athens.  Upon arrival, you’ll be taken to the Central Athens Hotel where you can catch the sights you may have missed on the way in. Depending on who you are, you can either choose to rest up for the long day of travel tomorrow, or party like it’s 1999 and end your trip with a bang. Either way, enjoy it… as it will be your last night in Greece.

Day 9: Sunday – Depart Athens
Board the shuttle to the Athens airport where you can say goodbye to your new and old friends before planning next year’s reunion trip!

Itinerary

Take a look at the full itinerary and some of the many events and tours you can take advantage of during your Spring Break Ireland vacation. Remember, the beauty of our trip is that it provides the necessary transportation, city-center accommodations, and featured tours and events, but is flexible enough to give you the power to pick and choose what it is that you really want to do on your Spring Break. This means, if half of the group wants to check out the Guinness Storehouse in Dublin, while the others spend the day shopping on O’Connell Street – that’s ok; Tenon Tours can make that happen!

Day 1: Depart your hometown for Dublin, Ireland

Depart your hometown in the late afternoon for Dublin, Ireland. Be sure to catch some zzz’s on the flight because you’re in for a wild week of entertainment and attractions you’¢ll never forget.

Day 2: Arrive in Dublin, Ireland

Arrive in the early morning to Dublin International Airport, where you will be greeted by your Tenon Tours Host* and directed to your hotel transportation. Upon arrival to your hotel, our Tour Host offers a short “Introduction to Ireland, before checking-in and having the day at your leisure. For those of you who would like to immerse yourself into the local sporting culture, the featured event will be a Gaelic Football or Hurling Match at Croke Park and be sure not to miss tonight’s wildest Welcome to Dublin Party* hosted at a nearby pub!

Day 3: Dublin

Spend the morning recovering from last night’s Welcome Party or begin exploring the streets, shops, and pubs of Dublin. You may choose to join in a tour of the Guinness Storehouse and enjoy a complimentary pint in the top-floor Gravity Bar overlooking Dublin. Be sure to check in with your Tour Host to find out the details on this evening’s event*, again hosted at a nearby local Irish pub.

Day 4: Dublin to Galway

Spend the morning recovering once again from last night’s party or enjoy your traditional Irish breakfast at the hotel before you board the coach bus for a relaxing ride through the Irish countryside to Galway on the west coast. Tonight a “Get Ready for Galway Pub Party* awaits your arrival.

Day 5: Galway

Wake up to your traditional Irish breakfast at your leisure this morning. The day is yours to experience Galway at your own pace or take advantage of the featured tour of the Connemara region, well known and loved by artists for its unspoiled beauty. Ask your Tour Host for details or for a list of local pubs, attractions and tonight’s pub event.

Day 6: Galway

Start your day at your own pace and explore the hidden secrets of Galway, or participate in the featured tour to the Aran Islands, Europe’s westernmost point where Gaelic is the first language of its residents and is considered the foothold of Irish culture. Hope you’re ready for a big night out, as you challenge your mates to a local pub crawl as tonight’s pub event.

Day 7: Galway to Lahinch

Depart Galway and check-in to your hotel in Lahinch for the final stop. Take full advantage of the serenity as you wind down from a wild week. Today you may want to join our excursion to see the majestic Cliffs of Moher and be ready for the final party of the week, your Ireland Farewell.

Day 8: Lahinch to Shannon/Home

Say goodbye to Ireland and your new friends as we leave Lahinch for Shannon to board your return flights home. Safe travels and we’ll see you next year!

Step 4- Invoice: Once your reservation is complete you will receive an invoice with your balance and due date (60 days prior to travel).

Unlike any other traditional Irish music night in the city, it is organized and hosted by All-Ireland Champion traditional Irish musicians and dancers in an intimate and homely setting. Your visit to Malahide will include a guided tour of the castle with time to wander around the craft shops and castle grounds, which span some 250 acres. Continuing with a scenic drive along Dublin’s spectacular northern coastline you will pass through the picturesque fishing village of Howth. The trail back to Dublin includes a 10 minute stop at Howth summit for breathtaking views of Dublin Bay. (Half Day Tour, 10:15am & 2pm departure times, 3.5 hours)

Take part in one of the World Famous Black Taxi Tours of Belfast. The local guides will tailor your tour, giving you the option of where you would like to visit most and of course will supply commentary featuring local stories and wit. Start your tour in the City Center, then move through the Shipyards and see where HMS Titanic was built and launched from. See the political districts which have bore the brunt of conflict over the last thirty years before seeing the elegant University Quarter and Museum district. (At Leisure, Approx. 1 hr 30 mins)

North Antrim Tour (Belfast) -$TBD

This excursion along the North Antrim Coast will surely take your breath away and leave you amazed! The highlight is a visit to what is often considered one of the eigth wonders of the world, the Giants Causeway. These wondrous rock formations are a spectacle to behold. Decide which you choose to believe, the geological explanation as to how the formations came to exist or the local lore of Finn MacCool and the bridge he built to reach his love in Scotland. Begin by driving inland to the coast, stopping at a secret location to view an Irish Mythological Site and discover St. Patrick’s childhood dwelling area. Then there is a quick stop at the Carrick-a-Rede Rope Bridge, and of course the Bushmills Whiskey distillery (sampling is allowed, you’re not driving!). Finish your tour with a magnificent drive back via Torr Head and experience an awesome view of the Irish sea from this high cliff-edge road. (Day Tour)

Cliffs of Moher (from Galway to Killarney) – INCLUDED

These rides all go into the National Park here in Killarney, which can boast being, the largest and oldest National Park in Ireland. Ride though the Knockreer Demense, North of Lough Lein, (the largest of the three lakes in Killarney) and take in views of Ross Castle and Ross Island, along with panoramic views of Innisfallen Island & the McGillycuddy Reeks Mountain Range. The Kenmare Estate and the majestic mountains surrounding Killarney will all be appreciated. All rides are supervised by guides and are able to cater for all levels of riding experience. Ennis Walking Tour (Ennis) – $18*

Built in 1425, and plundered on many occasions, it was authentically restored in 1954 to its former medieval splendour, with furnishings and tapestries capturing the mood and style of the times. Medieval Banquet at the Bunratty Castle (Bunratty, from Ennis) – $89
