Family of (5) adults (kids are 17-18-20); Need airfare from Detroit – Would like to be in Ireland for St. Patrick’s Day 2011 – Will it be green at that time of year? Would like the “go as you please” but completely unfamiliar so would also appreciate suggestions of what to see and where to stay. Have to stay in a Fabulous Castle at least one night. Must have Automatic vehicle – Possible mini van for (5) adults?? Thinking about 5-10 days – Very Flexible. My husband is the Irishman and has never seen Ireland – Wants to be there at the optimum time (when it’s green and lush); He thinks that St. Patrick’s Day timing may not be good? Please include price of auto transmission car; B&B’s only (prefer older and/or farmhouse family environment); air fare from Atlanta to Shannon roundtrip for the beginning of September 2010 for 6 night in Ireland. Coming into Dublin on 2/19 saying 2 days with freinds then want to drive to the west coast and the Connmarra (sorry if misspelled) loop. the back to Dublin for departure 3/2. There are supposed to be 3 of us but so far 2 have been booked. Can I get a proce for the car and b&b’s? thank you

MY NIECE AND I ARE CONSIDERING A TRIP TO OUR ANCESTRAL HOME OF IRELAND. I AM PARTICULARLY INTERESTED IN OUR FAMILY’S HISTORY, OF WHICH WE KNOW VERY LITTLE, ALTHOUGH I BELIEVE THEY ARE FROM LONDONDERRY. Hi, We’re interested in travel to Ireland for fun and maybe a wedding at the end of May/beginning of June. Fell in love with Ireland and haven’t been back since 2000.
