This Labor Day weekend join the Newport Yachting Center in celebrating the town’s Celtic pride during the three-day Newport Waterfront Irish Festival. With five stages of continuous entertainment and over 100 entertainers and exhibitors, the Newport Waterfront Irish Festival is one of the largest Irish celebrations in the country. Sit back and relax after you “Pour Your Own Pint” of Guinness, enjoy, the best of Irish food and drink, browse the Marketplace for handcrafted goods, or kick up your heels with the Irish step dancers.

Listen to and love musical performances by entertainers all rooted in the Irish tradition, including Eileen Ivers, the Glengarry Bhoys, Black 47, the Makem and Spain Brothers, and many more! Also performing are The Tartan Terrors, a Celtic comedy group that incorporates music, dance and comedy into one amusing act.

Furthermore, the festival has helped raise over $50,000 for local charities over the past six years. And a lucky attendee will even win a trip to Ireland courtesy of Tenon Tours! So come enjoy Irish culture, cuisine, art, dance, and music along Newport’s historic waterfront.

Be sure to check out our Happenings and Schedule of Events for more detailed information on all the fun to be had!
