Bryan Lewis, President & CEO of the Go Tenon Travel Group – Boston, MA

Born in San Francisco and raised in Minneapolis, Bryan is now settled in Boston with his wife and five children. Bryan began his career in the student travel business, first in a sales position with a small student tour operator, he eventually become Vice President of Sales for StudentCity.com where he developed a passion for group travel. An avid traveler, his desire to provide opportunities for others to see the world became the foundation of Tenon Tours.

Katie Fleming, Managing Director – Boston, MA

Born and raised in New Jersey, Katie’s first international travel experience was a study abroad program to Australia and New Zealand as a college student at the University of Delaware. She began her career in the travel industry at StudentCity.com first as an outside regional sales manager then as the Director of Customer Service in addition to the management of many on-site programs in both Mexico and the Bahamas.  Now an essential part of the Tenon Tours team, Katie has worked as an on-site Tenon Tours host in Ireland.

Gerardo Barrera, Finance Director / Co-Founder Go Blue Tours – Boston, MA

Gerardo Barrera was raised in Cancun, Mexico and relocated to the US in the late 90s. His journey began in the travel Industry 15 years ago when he joined as Accounting Manager for Studentcity.com and gradually became Chief Financial Officer of the parent company, TUI Education North America. Gerardo lives in Boston with his wife and two boys. He recently joined the Tenon Tours team and is excited about his new role of Chief Financial Officer and as co-founder of the new brand, Go Blue Tours.

Erika Gustafson, Director of Operations – Boston, MA

Born and raised in Putney, Vermont, Erika was answering phones at her family’s travel agency at the age of five. She was traveling internationally before she could walk and has lived abroad in Switzerland, France and Japan. To this day, she is always on the look-out for her next great adventure. Erika started her career in the travel industry immediately after completing her degree in education at Tufts University and has never looked back. Before joining the team at Tenon Tours, Erika worked in the fields of Caribbean travel at Boston’s TNT Vacations and Italian travel at Ciclismo Classico.

Stephanie Molettiere, National Sales Manager – Philadelphia, PA

Although Stephanie’s heritage does not directly come from Ireland, she has the passion and determination to travel and deeply develop her knowledge of other cultures that she originally discovered during a Study Abroad trip to Germany, Austria, Czech Republic, Hungary, and Italy. Born and raised just outside of Philadelphia, she attended the University of Delaware and began her career working as a Regional Sales Manager for StudentCity.com, eventually becoming Regional Sales Director. Andrew Sanborn, Senior Account Executive – Long Island, NY

Andrew started his career in the international travel industry after graduating from the University of Massachusetts, working for three years at StudentCity.com. After successful ventures in pharmaceutical and medical device sales, Andrew joined the Tenon Tours team to devote his career to his first love: travel. He has traveled throughout North America, the Caribbean, and of course, Ireland. He holds the firm belief that the best way to experience a culture is through its local cuisine. Andrew’s hobbies include cooking, photography and the Red Sox. Currently living on Long Island with his wife, son, Liam, and newborn daughter, Marin, Andrew was born in Maine and grew up outside of Boston.

Taryn Harrison, National Account Executive/Founder, Irish Life Experience – Polson, MT

Hailing from Polson, Montana, Taryn was bitten by the travel bug at an early age. At sixteen, she had the opportunity to participate in a summer study abroad program in Ireland. After graduating from college, Taryn served as a Peace Corps volunteer in Kyrgyzstan. Before being evacuated after 9/11, she worked in a small Muslim village teaching English to 5-11 graders. Upon returning to the States, she decided she needed a change of pace and moved to Ireland for a year, where she immersed herself in the tiny town of Camlough, Co. Armagh. Since her return to the States, Taryn has been taking high school and college students to Ireland with the Irish Life Experience. She has dedicated her life to sharing her knowledge and love for Ireland with young adults, combining education, travel, and fun. In her spare time she loves spending time with family and friends, hiking, running, skiing, singing, traveling and cheering for Gonzaga basketball.

Barbara Brown, National Account Executive – Dewey Beach, DE

After attending the Las Vegas Academy of International Studies & Performing Arts, Barbara began a successful career in commercial real estate in her native Las Vegas, NV, before trading the desert for an east coast beach town in June of 2011. Her first trip to Europe came that same year, when she visited friends and family in Southport, an English coastal town along the Irish Sea. She now makes her home in Delaware, where she supports the Tenon Tours Sales & Marketing team. In her free time, Barbara enjoys singing, painting, yoga, her two pet chihuahuas, and can quote every single FRIENDS episode ever made. Since being bitten by the travel bug, she hopes to do more traveling abroad and encourage others to do the same.

Casey Canevari, National Account Executive – Boston, MA

Casey joined the Tenon Tours team in early 2013 after a varied career in the hospitality and tourism industries. Born and raised in upstate New York, Casey was bit by the travel bug early in life and hasn’t looked back since. Having traveled to four of the world’s continents he is always humbled by the next adventure and culture he immerses himself in. Presently he resides outside of Boston with his wife and two little boys, who hope to travel the world with their daddy. In his spare time Casey likes to run, brew beer and find adventures in the great outdoors.

Hilary Flanagan, Project Manager – Boston, MA

Born and raised in Connecticut, Hilary’s first experience traveling abroad came when she visited her sister in Paris as a college freshman. She went on to spend a semester abroad in Dublin and has traveled to England, Norway, Spain, Italy and New Zealand. Hilary has a degree in Journalism from Boston University and her love of travel is based on a desire to learn other people’s stories. Ali Kelly, Operations Support Associate – Boston, MA

Alison, or Ali as she often goes by, is a native of Stoneham, Massachusetts. She joins the Tenon Tours Team with two years of experience in professional office support. Growing up in an Irish-American family, Alison was in touch with her Irish heritage from an early age. Her interest and love for Ireland grew exponentially during college when she lived in Dublin, Mayo, Belfast, and Derry/Londonderry studying peace and conflict resolution as well as completing a research project on public art in Dublin. Alison graduated from the University of Vermont with a Bachelors of Arts degree, double majoring in Political Science and English. She loves to read and discuss Irish literature, especially works by her favorite author, James Joyce. She spends her spare time writing, swimming, traveling and enjoying the company of her family and friends.

Jess Nunez, Web Developer – Ashland, OR

Born and raised in California, Jess now resides in beautiful Southern Oregon. Although she’s never been to Ireland, she comes from a large Irish family and looks forward to someday visiting her ancestral home. Many years ago she discovered her love for programming and ever since has spent her time creating online solutions that bring people and businesses together. Fueled by caffeine and web-geekery, she strives for that perfect balance of function and form and it has been her great pleasure to work with Tenon Tours!

Liza Vallone, Accounting Coordinator – Boston, MA

Born and raised in Boston, Liza now lives in Stoneham, MA with her husband, daughter and son. After graduating from Salem State College, Liza traveled to Ireland and Paris and from there grew her love of travel. Her Accounting background began after college where she started as a billing specialist at a private Boston bank and her role soon grew to a Senior Accounting/Accounts Receivable Analyst. She’s happy to be a part of Tenon Tours as an Accounting Coordinator.
