The term thin place comes from the pre-Christian culture in Ireland and refers to a place where the veil between this world the “other world” or the “eternal world” is thin. Old tales tell of people and beings of the other world being able to pass back and forth between worlds in thin places.
Every person will identify a thin place differently. A thin place is sensed differently that our present world – you cannot see it, touch it, hear it, smell it, or taste it. Our sense of a thin place transcends the physical limitations of our five senses.

This looks like the kind of tour I would like, but the timing is not good for me. When will you be offering another Thin Places tour? Thanks! Cheryl
I also would like to see this tour @ different times of the year. Due to work commitments my travel window is limited.
I would be interested in this tour @ the end of October.
It does need different than most tours, it would be better for me more mid summer. Maybe a couple of tours time options during the year. Thank you, Judith
This trip sounds wonderful and I would love to go, but I have no one to go with due to job losses and all. Do you have single’s accomodation or do you pair up people?
Thank you.
I would also be interested in pairing up with someone to save on the single supplement! Preferably someone who does not smoke or snore!
A friend, her son, and I would love to take this tour. Unfortunately, we cannot get away until spring. Is there any chance that you will be offering the Thin Places tour again in March or April of 2011?
