Tenon’s B&B voucher program allows you to pre-pay for your B&B stays while choosing which B&Bs you’ll stay in when you arrive, allowing travelers the freedom to go at their own pace. All of Tenon Tours’ B&B vouchers include en suite, private bathrooms. Please see the Extras tab for FAQ’s about the B&B voucher system. 
(Note that pre-booking stays in Dublin is highly recommended due to high occupancy rates.) Funds for unused B&B vouchers will be refunded within 30 days less a restocking fee.
The Bed and Breakfast sector of Irish accommodation has commenced a classification scheme administered by Failte Ireland, a company that works closely with Tourism Ireland. The scheme incorporates a 3*, 4* and 5* rating which endeavors to meet and exceed consumer expectations and cater for the needs of today’s consumers. Please see below for more details on these classifications.
All homes provide convenient and comfortable accommodation in a personal and homey atmosphere. The guest will find homes relaxing and ideal for getting to know the host. Hospitality encompasses warmth, sensitivity, time for guests and willingness based on local knowledge to provide information and directions.
Town Home: A House in a City, Town or Village
The choice of town house runs from detached and semi-detached to large period houses. Many are in an ideal location for city visits and shopping, they are often close to train and bus services.
Country Home: A House in a Rural Setting
Country homes offer a wide selection of premises such as Georgian residences, modern bungalows and traditional Irish homes – all with modern amenities and facilities and all with an adequate garden and green surrounds.
Farmhouse: A House on a Working Farm
The Farmhouse is a traditional or modern farmhouse all with modern amenities and facilities located in rural Ireland. Any home offering a holiday on a farm will allow safe access to the farm for guests.
All properties will reach a minimum level of standard under the Failte Ireland regulation to be considered a part of the B&B Ireland network of homes. To attain a higher star rating a higher quality and range of service and physical facilities must be provided. *Subject to change in Spring 2012.
