Where in the world hasn’t Monica been? The list of countries she’s visited is lengthy and impressive: Ireland, United Kingdom, France, Italy, Spain, Germany, the Netherlands, Belgium, Switzerland, the Czech Republic, Greece, Denmark, Sweden, Iceland, Norway, Canada, New Zealand, Australia, Chile, and Japan. Her favorite place has been Iceland, but if she could spend a week anywhere in the world it would be Finland. She’s solo traveled all over Europe and knows the ins and outs of what to see and do and how to get around.

Monica planned on becoming a marine biologist. While she started traveling at a young age with her family, she never thought she would go into the travel industry. It was only after doing a study abroad year in France that her passion for travel and the industry really took shape. After her studies, she continued living in Europe, went to school in London, and spent a year in New Zealand working in a hotel. When she finally returned home to Oregon, she was eager to share her passion for travel and connecting people all over the world, and began her career in the travel industry. Monica has been with Tenon since 2021 and loves how we are with you every step of the way and make you feel at home when you aren’t. She still loves anything ocean related. And French pastries.
