The Magical Lakes of Italy

Upon arrival in Milan, you will be transferred to your hotel at Maggiore Lake for your 4-night stay. Located on the south side of the Alps, Lake Maggiore is the second largest lake in Italy. The lake is uniquely divided, with part of it in Piedmont and the Italian-speaking Swiss region of Ticino. Enjoy the rest of the day at your leisure and explore the area at your own pace. Dinner at the hotel OR at a local restaurant is included.

Meet your guide after breakfast at the hotel for a half-day excursion by boat to the stunning Monastery of Santa Caterina del Sasso. Say goodbye to Lake Maggiore and travel on to another one of Italy’s famous lakes, Lake Como, with its many popular lakeside resorts including Lecco, Bellagio and Varenna. Enjoy an early breakfast before embarking on an exciting day! You will be transferred to Tirano to board the Bernina Train, a panoramic train that will take you to St. Moritz, passing through the Poschiano Valley. You will arrive in St. Moritz in the afternoon. En route, you will enjoy the incredible sights of majestic mountains. Depart from St. Moritz by private car back to your hotel in Como.

Widely known and appreciated for its fashion and design contribution to the world, it is also a financial hub with many high-end boutiques and restaurants. Check into your hotel and enjoy the remainder of the day at leisure to see the sights. Popular sites in Milan include the Gothic Duomo di Milano and the convent of Santa Maria Delle Grazie, where you will find the Da Vinci mural, The Last Supper.
