What made you want to travel to Ireland?
“I was able to get a very reasonable deal on airfare”

Where were the top 3 places to visit on your wish list? If you made it to them, what did you think?:
“Made all places on our list. Top three were Waterford Crystal, Blarney Castle, Bunratty Castle. Visited 5 places in Dublin.”

Tough question alert! What was the best part about your vacation?:
“Stress free. All arrangements made and they were great.”

What made you want to travel with Tenon Tours? What advantages did you have booking with Tenon Tours?:
“Did not know about Tenon Tours. Internet search. Found to be easy to work with, attentive, and quick response time. Good value for money spent.”

How was your experience with your Personal Sales Representative(s)?:

“Dominique was great. We had to shift airline itinerary due to Hurricane Irma. During period this was going on she kept me appraised of options with Tenon and our package if we could not get re-routed. Re-route was successful and tour went as scheduled.”

Do you wish you prepared better for any specific part of the trip?:
“Like most people we over packed. Felt we were well prepared for the trip and had a great time.”

Do you have any advice to offer up about the weather?:

“You can’t control the weather. Don’t let it control you. We were prepared for rain but only encountered a little. Best investment we made was oversized hooded rain parkas.”

Did travel insurance come in handy for you?:
“Had it and thought might have to use it due to Hurricane Irma impact on travel. Did not use do to flight reroute and arrival in DUB as scheduled”

Were there any unplanned parts of your trip that wound up turning into one of your favorite travel stories?:
“We set up trip to visit one place a day while driving. Came across various places we stop to look at the view or briefly visit.”

How did you feel about driving on the “wrong” side of the road?:
“No problem. Lived in UK for 2 years in the 80’s”

What tips do you have for others planning a self-drive tour?:
“Get all the auto insurance you can”

How did you go about planning your itinerary, picking sights, arranging them and figuring out how long to stay?:
“Arrival and departure dates were fixed. Studied map, ready about attractions, worked with Dominque to put together a plan.”
