One of the sweetest clients Tenon Tours has ever had-Lucy Younes shares her story about her recent trip abroad.
Getting ready to run the Dublin Rock and Roll Half Marathon.
We traveled to Ireland for the Dublin Rock and Roll Half Marathon.
Who did you travel with?
I traveled with my friend and running partner.
Where were the three top places to visit on your wish list? Did you make it to them and what did you think?
For our must-do’s/see’s, it was obviously the race itself. The next was just exploring the capital and then seeing Glendalough and the Wicklow Mountains. The trip definitely exceeded my expectations.
SlƔinte at the Guinness Brewery!
An overseas half marathon to earn our Rock and Roll World Rocker Medal has been a “bucket list” item for years. So completing that was the best part. Although the post-race tour to the Wicklow Mountains was an added bonus.
Why did you choose Tenon Tours? What advantages did you have booking with Tenon Tours?
I simply googled “Rock and Roll Dublin Travel Agency” and Tenon Tours came up. All we had to worry about was getting ourselves to the finish line:).
Enjoying our day at Glendalough on the Wicklow Mountains Tour!
Taryn was fantastic about picking the perfect hotel and pre/post race activities. Molly was great on the follow up!
Tell us about any new friends you may have met along the way.
The race participants that we met were wonderful and a very diverse and fun-loving group. It was the perfect race for a slower recovering couch potato runner like myself. The Wicklow Mountain’s tour guide was delightful and very informative.
