Welcome back, dearest gentle reader. Have you already binged the first four episodes of season 3 of Bridgerton and are as enamored by the show, the style, the romance, the stunning locations as we are? Well, you can step into the world of “The Ton” and experience the romance, intrigue, and opulence firsthand during your trip to the UK. While the characters, wardrobes, and other set designs truly make the show come alive, we have to say that these actual locations will make you feel as if you’re there already. With everything from grand estates to charming streets and squares, these real-life settings will transport you to the Regency era of London society.

Wilton House, Wiltshire, England

This breathtaking estate serves as the primary filming location for Queen Charlotte’s throne room. Viewers might also recognize Wilton House as the residence of the powerful and ever-influential Lady Danbury. And, perhaps most recognizable, the exterior serves as the Duke of Hastings’ London home! Many of these rooms are open to the public for viewing, and it’s definitely worth a visit.

Ranger’s House, Greenwich, London, England

This elegant Georgian villa served as the exterior for the Bridgerton family’s stunning Mayfair residence, where all eight siblings grow up, squabble, and eventually enter society. While not located in Mayfair like the show, Ranger’s House does exude the same charm in real life as it does on screen.

Beyond its TV fame, Ranger’s House has a rich history and a stunning art collection. Explore the elegant rooms or wander the gardens. Be sure to check their website for opening times and any special events before your visit.

The Royal Crescent, Bath, England

This famous crescent-shaped row of townhouses is used to depict the front of the Featherington residence. Built in Georgian architecture, this gorgeous row even includes a hotel where you can stay. Explore the historic streets here and imagine the bustling traffic of horse carriages you’d see if we lived in the Regency era. Or, picture Penelope lounging in one of the windows, keeping an eye on the Bridgerton house across the street.

Castle Howard, North Yorkshire, England

Take a day trip to Castle Howard, the magnificent, sprawling estate in North Yorkshire. This is the infamous manor of the Duke of Hastings, and we see this castle for the first time once Daphne and Simon marry and travel to their new home. Designed in the English Baroque style, its architecture is both impressive in scale and detail. While the house itself is open from Spring to October, the extensive grounds, including the Skelf Island Adventure Playground, shops, and cafes, welcome visitors year-round (except Christmas Day).

Old Royal Naval College, Greenwich, London, England

Fancy a promenade? The gorgeous Old Royal Naval College in Greenwich served as a prominent and popular backdrop for social gatherings in the series. While the exact scene locations within the college might be a mystery, keep on the lookout for the instantly recognizable colonnades. These elegant walkways were a subtle but effective way to depict the bustling social scene of Regency London in the show.

Painshill Park, Surrey, England

Viewers might recognize Painshill Park as the location for some of the show’s outdoor scenes. Picture Daphne and Simon exchanging stolen glances on the Five Arch Bridge, or imagine the characters enjoying a leisurely picnic on the sprawling lawns. Painshill Park offers a delightful escape from the hustle and bustle of city life. Pack a picnic basket, channel your inner Bridgerton character, and get ready for a day of fresh air, stunning scenery, and a touch of historical charm. Be sure to check their website for opening times and any special events before your visit.

Are you ready to walk the same halls, parks, and stunning historic spaces as your favorite Bridgerton character? While these locations are a portal into the show, you might be surprised how enthralling their real-life histories are.
