Marketing Coordinator

Tenon Tours is an award-winning tour operator that specializes in planning personalized vacations to Europe.  The Marketing Coordinator will assist with maintaining the company’s online presence across various social media platforms and creating content. We are looking for a self-starter with strong writing skills who is eager to learn and grow their knowledge of marketing within the travel industry.

  • At least 1 year of relevant experience preferred
  • Working knowledge of major social media platforms (Facebook, Instagram, Twitter, Pinterest, LinkedIn, YouTube) and best practices of each
  • Excellent written communication 
  • Must be able to multi-task & should be extremely detail-oriented
  • Professional and approachable demeanor
  • A positive, can-do attitude and willingness to learn 
  • Ability to work and thrive in a collaborative environment
  • A passion for the travel experience 
  • Degree in marketing, communications, or related
  • 2-3 writing samples are required – applications without this will not be considered.
Preferred, but not required
  • Familiarity with one or more of  the following systems: Google Suite, Adobe Express, WordPress
  • Increase brand awareness and organic lead generation through company social media channels including Facebook, Instagram, Twitter, Pinterest and LinkedIn. This includes creating engaging text, image and video content that follows our brand guidelines. You will be responsible for reporting, tracking and meeting set performance goals.
  • Responding/escalating comments and messages on social media, Feefo and Google in a timely manner. 
  • Work with Marketing Manager to create, submit and report on third-party promotions and offers.
  • Work with Marketing Manager to plan and execute live streams on Facebook and YouTube.
  • Contact selected past travelers to be featured in Traveler Spotlights on our blog and newsletters.
  • Assist with copywriting as outlined in marketing content calendar in various formats
  • Responsible for minor content updates on the company website to ensure accuracy and consistency.
  • Order business cards and other branded material when needed. 
  • Regularly perform data maintenance and cleanup within our database 
  • Completing daily tasks, including resolving issues that arise within the department.
  • Work hours: Monday – Friday, 8am-5pm ET.
  • Base Salary + Bonus Opportunities
  • Generous PTO + 5 days per year to use toward travel to our featured destinations
