Leah Schilling | Operations Coordinator | Delaware
It was love at first sight on Leah’s first major trip abroad, a high school trip to Australia where she spent a month traveling from Sydney to Cairns, meeting the locals and learning the country’s history while fitting in some abseiling, snorkeling, and camping in the outback on the side. That’s when her passion for travel was ignited. She’s since been to multiple states throughout the US, as well as the Bahamas, Aruba, Northern Ireland, and Ireland, but her goal is to visit every territory/state in Australia in her lifetime at least once. She’s got the east coast mostly covered, but still has much more to see and experience. What does she love most about the land down under? The scenery, the history, the people, and of course, the accents!
Living in Delaware all her life, Leah always dreamed of experiencing new places outside of her small state. From a number of small family trips within the US to her graduation from the University of Delaware with a degree in Pre-Veterinary Medicine, Leah is now ready to focus on fulfilling her destination bucket list and has been helping others make their travel dreams happen at Tenon Tours since 2018. The top destinations on her list? New Zealand, Germany, Scotland, and returning to her first love, Australia. Get in touch, and she’ll help you with yours.
It’s All In The Details
What does Pre-Veterinary Medicine have to do with travel, you say? Having a science background has taught Leah how important being detailed really is, how a change in one small aspect of a situation or process can make all of the difference. She loves to alleviate stress by taking care of those finer details for the client and, as a Sales Coordinator, she gets to put that experience to work as the first ‘face’ of Tenon Tours that the client meets.
