- Hotels
  - Hotels in Norway come in all shapes and sizes. Snow hotels, historic hotels, and hotels of every standard from independent to global brands, boutique to luxury, fjord view to mountain view.
  - Breakfast and taxes are always included in the room rate.
  - Rooms are often smaller than what you’d find in the US, which is typical in Europe.
  - Norway hotels do not use the star rating, and even the best hotels in the country may not offer amenities such as room service and porterage. Specialty hotels may also offer spa and wellness services.

Your chauffeur company and driver will be selected at the discretion of Tenon Tours, based on availability. Vehicle types may differ from partner to partner, but as a guideline, the vehicles include these luxury options:

Travel Tips
- Combine with a Rail Tour to take advantage of the NSB, Norwegian State Rail, which connects major towns/cities. The routes offer some of the best views in the world, and have even been dubbed “world’s best train rides” by numerous sources.
- Norway also has an excellent bus network, but travel by boat in the fjords sometimes requires reservations.
- Car rental is widely available. If you get behind the wheel for part of your journey, a valid US driver’s license and passport are required for foreign drivers. Norway traffic drives on the right side of the road, use of cell phones while driving is strictly prohibited, and rules regarding drinking and driving are very strict—zero tolerance.
- Extending your holiday and your journey is easy, thanks to international ferry service available to and from Germany, Denmark, and the UK.
